    New Brand Campaign for Prince George’s Community College

    12361 brand campaignPrince George’s Community College transforms students’ lives by providing high quality learning opportunities, training, and service that prepare them for associate degrees and certificates, transition to four-year institutions, high-demand careers, and personal enrichment. A significant number of PGCC students who complete their education at the college either begin or continue their careers in Prince George’s County. More than 500,000 alumni are the area’s nurses, teachers, law enforcement officers, business owners, and involved citizens.  In fact, Prince George’s Community College is a key factor in developing a better trained, more prepared workforce that will advance the growth, development, and perception of the surrounding community and will transform Prince George’s County from within.

    Transforming Lives positions Prince George’s Community College as a leader in higher educational opportunities in Prince George’s County and the region. The new brand campaign will be used to not only promote the college in general but also highlight specific academic, workforce development, and continuing education programs.

    Transforming Lives will be communicated to various audiences primarily through advertisements in seven major venues—newspaper/magazine, radio, television/cable, mass transit, outdoor, internet, and movie theaters. A sample of the print ad is on the other side of this postcard. Look for new television and radio spots that also will be used to communicate how the college transforms lives. Additionally, the brand will be communicated through the college’s major publications such as the annual report, schedules of classes, catalog, view books, and student success posters on the campus.
