Transfer Advising (articulation)

  •  Transfer is a journey and a destination.

Below are some suggestions to help you on your way:

To look up how specific courses transfer to four year schools in Maryland, visit the ARTSYS articulation system.

See more information about the  Maryland Transfer Advantage Program (MTAP) for students interested in transferring to the Unversity of Maryland.

MTAP students who are members of the Prince George’s Community College Honors Academy receive $5,000 scholarships when they transfer to the University of Maryland. Admission to the Honors Academy is competitive.

    • Talk to a career advisor.
    • Learn about yourself and about careers (Try the DISCOVER  or Kuder Programs).
    • Use the career library to research your career possibilities.
    • Consider taking a career course (CAP 1300 or CAP 1310).
    • Look at the last item on the Transfer Links page for career information (Occupational Outlook Handbook).
