Prince George’s Community College Presents United States Congresswoman Donna Edwards as Guest Speaker at
Annual Notary Public Day—FREE Workshops and Information Sessions Offered On-Site
The Third Annual Notary Public Day will take place on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the Largo, Maryland campus of Prince George’s Community College from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. A selection of FREE workshops will be presented on notary public procedures and related fields, and industry officials and experts will be on hand to share information, best practices and other pertinent information from their fields.
This year’s featured guest speaker is United States Congresswoman Donna Edwards who represents Maryland’s 4th Congressional District, comprising portions of Prince George’s and Anne Arundel Counties. She is the first African American woman to represent Maryland in Congress. Also, the Honorable Maryland Secretary of State, John P. McDonough, will speak on current laws and regulations pertaining to Notaries Public. The Office of the Secretary of State is responsible for administering and enforcing notary public standards of law.
