College Welcomes Students in January with Diverse and Engaging Events

 LARGO, Md. —Prince George’s Community College welcomes students in January with diverse and engaging events. Programs are free and open to students.  

New Student Spring Convocation and Resource Fair, Largo Student Center Lobby and Student Lounge, January 17, 9 a.m.-10:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. Talk with leaders about Prince George’s Community College resources and programs. New students will receive information about how to successfully navigate their academic journeys. 

Graffiti Self Portrait Photo Design, Largo Student Center Lobby, January 22, 2–6 p.m. Develop a graffiti style self-image. A photographer will take photos and models will edit the image with special creative design software.  

Secrets of the Spring Semester, Largo Student Center Lobby, January 24, 2–6 p.m. Peak into the future and learn what lies ahead for the spring semester. A psychic will offer students one-on-one readings. 

Karaoke Friday, Largo Student Center,Hollow Tree, January 25, 12-4 p.m. Win prizes and sing the hits at a karaoke session.
