LARGO, Md.—Discover your next occupation at the fourth annual Hospitality Career Fair, February 16, noon–2 p.m. at Prince George’s Community College, Largo Student Center, Community Rooms B and C. The fair is free and will include more than a dozen area businesses. Participating employers include The Marriott Inn and Conference Center at University of Maryland University College, Gaylord National Hotel and Convention Center, TownePlace Suites by Marriott, Doctors Community Hospital and Six Flags America.
“Despite a challenging economy, employers are seeking well-trained students to fill job openings,” said Stephanie Pair-Cunningham, senior career advisor. “Over the past four years, we have forged strong relationships with these local businesses and the career fair is a great way to connect our students with businesses ready to hire,” she added.
Job seekers must register via email at firstname.lastname@example.org to attending the event. Attendees are encouraged to dress for a job interview and bring multiple copies of their resumes.
The event is sponsored by the Hospitality and Tourism Institute at Prince George’s Community College and Career Services.
