PGCC Hosts 2012 Regional Basketball Tournament

Largo, Md.––For the first time in the college’s history, Prince George’s Community College (PGCC) will host the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XX Division III Men's Basketball Tournament. The competition will be held at the college’s Largo campus, 301 Largo Road, Largo, MD, Friday, March 2 through Sunday, March 4, 2012.

"We are honored to have the 2012 NJCAA Region XX Division III Men's Basketball Championship take place at PGCC,” said Jo Ann Todaro, athletics director at Prince George’s Community College. “Hosting a major tournament provides the college with a great opportunity to showcase our improved athletic facilities with some of the best men's basketball players in the area," she added.
