How to Apply for Financial Aid

    The Financial Aid Office at Prince George's Community College will provide excellent customer service, be responsive to both internal and external customers, promote team spirit, be ethical and competent, and support the Prince George's Community College Mission. We will accomplish this by: facilitating communication within enrollment management; making a quality Prince George's Community College education attainable; operating efficiently and effectively; using technology to enhance communication, customer service, and access; encouraging cross training, and serving as an effective advocate for financial aid issues.  
    How to Apply 

     These steps must be followed every year for need-based financial aid.

    1. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)  
      1. PGCC School Code: 002089  
      2. Get your FAFSA PIN number   
    2. Provide Requested Documentation
    3. Selective Service Administration  
      1. Men in the U.S. are required to register with Selective Service within 30 days of their 18th birthday. Men must be registered to be in compliance with federal law and stay eligible for student loans and grants, government jobs, job training, all security background clearances, and U.S. citizenship for immigrants.
