Prince George’s Community College offers a deferred tuition payment plan for credit students through Nelnet Business Solutions (NBS; formerly known as FACTS), a tuition management service that is used by schools and colleges nationwide. Over the years, NBS has grown to serve nearly 3,000 institutions and processed payments for more than 350,000 families and students annually. They help families meet their tuition obligation in a low cost, convenient way that is completely confidential and secure. Plus, the flexibility and variety of payment options help keep education more affordable. Because NBS handles the entire tuition collection and management process so effectively, schools and colleges control their costs so that future tuition increases are kept at the lowest possible level. NBS benefits students by offering: A convenient way to make regular payments, Flexible payment options to meet individual needs, The ability to make changes throughout the school year, Eliminated mailing and check writing costs, In essence, the program allows tuition to be paid in either four, three or two installments. Under an automatic payment plan, payments can be deducted from a student’s checking account, savings account, or Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express with payments deducted according to the plan’s due dates for a $35 processing fee each semester. This processing fee is shared between NBS and Prince George's Community College. Arrangements to participate in NBS must be made online. No paper enrollment forms will be accepted.
