The Learning Foundations Division is home of the Developmental Studies Program. The Developmental Studies Program exists to help students develop academic skills for succeeding in college level courses. The program focuses on basic skills in reading, writing, and mathematics. The program also emphasizes study and test-taking strategies, calculator and computer skills and laboratory skills -- all important for success in college.
