The Children's Developmental Clinic is for children birth through twelve years of age who are experiencing a delay or disability in the following: gross and fine motor development, receptive and expressive language, reading development and social skills.
The Children's Developmental Clinic provides services for children in the areas of motor, language, reading and social skills. A nine week session is available during the fall and spring semesters at Prince George's Community College (PGCC) and the University of Maryland. A five week summer session is also available at Prince George's Community College. For dates, times and fees refer to the Cover Letter.
To volunteer for the Children's Developmental Clinic, you must register for the above courses. You may register in advance or during the preclinic training portion of the program. Prior to working with any children,volunteers are required to complete fingerprinting and a criminal background check. Prince George's Community College will provide these services to the volunteers at no cost as part of their training.
