Do you want to improve your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills?

The ESL program offers classes for adults from non English-speaking countries who need instruction in speaking, understanding, reading, and writing English. Classes are held throughout Prince George’s County; morning, evening and Saturday programs are available. Beginning and intermediate classes are available at most locations; advanced classes are available at some locations. Classes focus on the English language skills learners need to be successful in the community and in the workplace. Learners take a placement test at registration and are placed in the appropriate level. There is a tuition fee for advanced classes; beginning and intermediate classes are free. Students purchase their textbooks. Most classes meet for a total of 60 hours.
