General Information

This AAT program provides the first two years of preparation for a bachelor’s degree in elementary education (grades 1-6) or special education grades 1-12.  Mathematics and science courses are designed to meet the needs of elementary school educators.  The department provides individual advising and works closely with Prince George’s County Public School System and local four-year institutions.

Locating this program back to its published code for summer, 2010 and beyond. Identical to the TCHR.SPEC.ED.AAT program from 09-10. This is a recommended program of study for students planning to pursue a bachelor's degree with the goal of teaching elementary education, grades 1-6 or special education, grades 1-12.
