General Information

The Accounting Professional, AAS, program prepares students for careers in the accounting field. The focus is on practical skills needed for the accounting industry. Students interested in pursuing a bachelor's degree upon graduating should consider the Accounting Transfer Option, AS.

The Accounting Professional Associate of Applied Science degree helps prepare the student for employment in entry-level accounting positions, such as accounting assistant, accounting clerk or accounting technician.

  • Complete one Math course. NOTE: The following do NOT count toward fulfilling this requirement: MAT-1030, MAT-0104, MAT-2550 MAT-2910, MAT-2920, MAT-2930. All other MAT courses are acceptable.
