  • The Hospitality, Tourism, and Culinary Arts Institute, one of PGCC’s Workforce Development Institutes, meets the ever-increasing worldwide demand for well-trained hospitality and tourism professionals.

    We understand an individual’s personal career and learning goals. In partnership and collaboration with businesses, government and educational organizations, we provide the comprehensive education and training programs that empower HTI participants and graduates to competitively enter the industry and quickly advance their careers—while productively benefiting their employers—as lodging managers, food and beverage managers, convention and meeting managers, chefs, food service providers, hotel administrators, hospitality supervisors, meeting planners, customer service specialists and hospitality and tourism entrepreneurs for:

  • Our Mission

    The Hospitality and Tourism Institute’s (HTI) mission is to provide businesses, government, and educational partners with a collaborative forum for action planning that addresses the county’s’ and regions emerging hospitality and tourism workforce challenges and learning needs. HTI provides a comprehensive range of education and training programs, based on industry-recognized skill requirements. Institute partners advocate for training resources, develop innovative workforce development solutions and assist businesses with the recruitment, training and retention of a highly qualified workforce.
