Hands-on application of industry standards to hand soldering of compenents to connectors and both through-hole and surface-mount circuit boards. Includes relevant standards, safety and ESD requirements, and inspection techniques. Students who successfully complete the course are eligible for IPC J-STD-001 certification. 1 class/2 lab hours.
