MAT-1140 - Introduction to Statistics

This is an introductory course in statistics intended for students in a wide variety of areas of study. Topics discussed include displaying and describing data, probability, binomial and normal distributions, confidence intervals, hypothesis tests, and regression and correlation. Prerequisite: Math placement score or C or higher in MAT 0092 or MAT 0104 or concurrent enrollment in MAT 0114C. 3 credits
