NTR-1010 - Introductory Nutrition

Addresses basic information about essential nutrients and their functions in the body as well as known and hypothesized relationships between long-term diets and development of chronic diseases. The course addresses current issues in nutrition and food safety research. Course content includes current issues in weight management, interactions between nutritional status and physical fitness, and food safety. Students cannot receive credit for both BIO 115 and NTR 1010. (Honors version available)
