HEO-301 - Basic Bulldozer Operation

Learn to operate both straight and angle blade bulldozers through hands-on training to gouge out, level, distribute earth and push trees and rocks from land preparatory to constructing roads and buildings, planting crops, or in mining, quarrying, and lumbering operations. Students are taught lever and pedal controls to provide power to raise, lower, or tilt attachment. Practice driving the bulldozer in successive passes over terrain to raise or lower terrain to specified grade following markings on grade stakes or hand signals and performing routine maintenance on the loader, such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.
