TED-1100 - Prin/Pract Early Childhood Edu

Develops an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the early childhood education professional, as well as of the history and current pracrtices of early childhood education in the field today. Includes the types of developmentally appropriate programs and related services in the field and their theoretical foundations. Students must take TED-1110 in the same semester. TED-1200 may be taken concurrently. Grades of "C" or better are required, with AAS in ECE prgram students required to achieve a "B" in TED-1110. Prerequisite: Reading proficiency. (Formerly ECE-1050. Credit cannot be earned for both ECE-1050 and TED-1100.)
