TED-1400 - Intro to Multicultural Ed

An introduction to the principles, concepts, and strategies of multicultural education. Emphasis is on using this knowledge to be able to create a classroom environment that is respectful of all students' cultures, recognizes the complexity of the world in which they live, and utilizes a variety of tools to foster multicultural awareness. Students in all ECE programs may register for TED-1300 in the same semester. A grade of "C" or better must be achieved in both courses. Formerly ECE-1700. Students may not receive credit for both ECE-1700 and TED-1400.)
