BIO-1010 - General Biology

Introduction to biology for non-science majors with both lecture and laboratory components. this course surverys ecology, chemistry of life, cell physiology, human organ systems, genetics, and molecular genetics. The ability to think critically and to draw conclusions based on evidence will be emphasized. Credit may not be earned for both BIO-1010 and BIO-1130, or BIO-1140 toward the same degree. 3 lecture/3lab hours. (Honors version available.)
