BMT-2882 - Health Care Management

Explores basic concepts of management theory as applied to healthcare. Students will examine the organizational structure of the health care delivery system and management functions such as planning, organizing, directing and controlling. They will also approach health care from a systems and efficiency perspective. Emphasis will also be placed on the need for cost controls as a way of ensuring quality health care.
