AGR-330 - High Tunnel Const. I & II

This hands-on course will provide practical experience for anyone interested in constructing high tunnels (hoophouses) as a means to extend the growing season, grow year-round, or get a head start with seedlings. It will cover specific construction techniques, such as bending metal hoops, as well as techniques related to the use of the high tunnel, such as cover materials, ventilation and irrigation. Prerequisite: AGR-301.A materials fee of $20 payable to the instructor is due at the beginning of the first class.
