CST-305 - Electricity: Residential Wirin

This course is a continuation of the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) levels one and two Electrical curriculum to prepare students to wire a residence according to the National Electrical code. It includes blue-print reading, residential wiring techniques, boxes and fittings, conductor terminations and splices, circuit breakers and fuses, interpretation of the NEC, hands-on lab work, and safety training. Prerequisite: Knowledge of electricity or concurrent enrollment in OCC314, Basic Electricity. Text plus NEC 2008 Code Book, and safety glasses are required.
