DCR-452 - Ready, Set, Read!

Content Area D: This course will investigate what a child's growing mind must do to make sense of the written word and create writing. From there, the study will explore the development of reading and writing from infancy to the early school years, what problems to look for and how to assist a struggling reader. See how literacy growth is boosted during daily routines and child's play. This course will help to build confidence in guiding a child's literacy development and how even the smallest events can be really big steps in reading and writing success.
