In this class, students will build an IBM-compatible computer under the guidance of the instructor. Class lecture will focus on the steps involved in building a computer from scratch. Lab time will include extensive teacher involvement with the student. The student will be responsible for purchasing the computer components as specified in the parts list and vendor information provided at the first class. Meets concurrently with credit course INT-1560. Prerequisites: DPR-320: Repair and Maintenance of Personal Computers or INT-1540.
