Students will be shown how to establish a chart of accounts, vendor, customer, inventory, and payroll records and how to enter typical transactions for service and merchandising businesses, as well as how to prepare standard financial statements using QuickBooks software. Students must take this course to proceed to OFC-344 or QuickBooks: Part 2. Prerequisites: OFC-361 or OFC-341 or accounting experience. Students must have a basic understanding of key accounting and bookkeeping terms to enter this class. Meets concurrently with credit course ACC-1070. Text required.
