EGL-2600 - Introduction to the Novel

An overview of the history, development, and form of the novel. This course examines novels from a variety of cultures, ranging from the genre's inception to the present, using introductory literary theory to better understand these works and their historical, cultural, and literary contexts. 3 class hours.
