GEO-300 - Geology: Earth Science

This course discusses the principles of physical geology; the history of the earth and its inhabitants; geologic features used to interpret and date past events; formations and geologic periods; and the classification of the six biotic kingdoms of nature. Topics include plate tectonics, volcanoes, the fossil record, continental glaciations and underground water.
