HES-498 - Medical Billing Clinical

Assisted Living Facilities are residential community-based program for individuals who have a physical or cognitive impairment and who need help with one or more activities of daily living (ADLs). Examples of ADLs include personal care and mobility, meal preparation, and household chores. Assisted Living provides senior adults with housing and supportive services and may include health-related services. This two-day course covers the basics needed to start your own assisted living business. Students will discuss and review application procedures, Maryland state licensure requirements, business planning strategies, fees, staffing, online resources, networking and marketing.
