CST-432 - Intro to Painting Level 1 Pt 1

This course is the first of two courses designed to teach entry-level painting skills using the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) curriculum for commercial and residential painting. Topics will include: careers, safety, identifying surface/substrate materials and condtions, protecting adjacent surfaces, and basic surface preparation. Prerequisite: OCU-410. Note: Due to scheduling the required Core Introductory Craft Skills course for level one students may be completed concurrently. Textbook required at first class session. Instructor: Gregory Johnson.
