MGT-710 - Facility Mgmt Professional

The International Facility Management Association's (IFMA) Facility Management Professional (FMP) designation is a knowledge-based credential that will help to accelerate Facility Manager's (FM) transition into the profession and demonstrate a proven comprehension of the basics of facility management. It is ideal for early-to mid-career facility management practitioners seeking enhanced knowledge and skills, individuals who are transitioning into the FM profession, related-industry practitioners such as architects, designers and safety engineers, facility-related product and service providers, and students entering the profession from colleges, universities, certificate or technical programs. Four knowledge domains (Operations and Maintenance, Project Management, Finance and Business Essentials, and Leadership and Strategy Essentials), as determined by the recent IFMA global job task analysis, are deemed critical to the foundation of knowledge required of facility managers, and therefore are taught and tested by the IFMA FMP Credential Program. Note: members of the IFMA Chesapeake Chapter must register for syn# 49155.
