SKB-461 - Readers' Theater I

This beginning course is designed to promote specific skills of teamwork, creativity, oral expression/interpretation, writing, presentation and memory. Course includes the fundamental elements of drama, focusing primarily on communication and speech. Topics include public speaking, mechanics of speech, delivery of short narratives, acting techniques, improvisation, vocal expression, body movement, theory and practice of readers' theatre as it pertains to adapting literature, directing and performing narrative theatre.
