PSY-2020 - Industrial/Organizational Psy

Introduces students to the major topics, concepts and theories comprising organizational psychology. Students will explore: organizational development, management, advertising and marketing; leadership styles; impression management; cultural and gender issues; ethical and legal issues; program analysis, performance appraisals and promotions; job analysis and job training; group processes; job-related biases, prejudice and job discrimination. The course will also explore the current related issues in the media involving applied I/O psychology. (Formerly PSY-2250. Students may not receive credit for both PSY-2250 and PSY-2020.) 3 class hours.
