ESL-356 - Pronunciation and Fluency

This course will introduce the 15 English language vowels and fundamental elements of stress including pitch, volume and length. Identify thought groups, as well as stress timing versus syllable timing. Identify common patterns for questions, responses, corrections, and requests for clarification. Introduction to fundamental spelling patterns of long and short vowels. Course will include practice and production through interactive activities.
