This course will cover ways for managers in the 21st century workplace to understand and consider the pivotal role and challenges associated with the unique values and characteristics of the four generations of employees working side by side. Examine each generation in the workforce based on its management needs and the generational ability to attain organizational goals and objectives. Topics covered include strategies for talent maximization, the impact of generational differences on today's work environment, and an examination of communication essentials for generational managers. Synthesize the unique characteristics of the four generations and integrate key generational diversity tenets with broader HR frames and competency models.
