HIS-911 - Irish History: Part I

This course provides instruction on the history of Ireland from its inception in 432 AD through the Norman conquest and Protestant domination. Topics include early history of Ireland, introduction of Christianity, Viking and Norman invasions, Protestant domination under Henry the VIII, Reformation and the Cromwell period culminating with the push for independence by Irish patriots.
