ART-398 - Getting Started in Acting

Ever wanted to try your hand at acting but didn't know where to start? Do you know what a monologue is, or how to choose one? Whether you're looking to act as a hobby or a potential career, this course will give your insight into the theatre, television and film world. We will cover differences in the mediums, audition techniques, unions, resources, local opportunities, and so much more. By the end of the course, you'll have at least one monologue at performance standards, and be ready to get your feet wet. Instructor: Robin Zerbe is a SAG-AFTRA actress.
