“Request for a Long Term Badge” form must be requested in person. Please present your documentation at the location and on the days and hours listed below to get your form.
Procedures for persons needing access to Andrews for Intersession and Spring 2010 classes:
BASE ACCESS UPDATES FROM ANDREWS CENTER WILL BE SENT VIA OWL MAIL. ACTIVATE YOUR ACCOUNT!
Civilian students, faculty or staff without military affiliation accessing Joint Base Andrews must follow base security clearance procedures in order to obtain a Long Term Badge. Badges are issued at the Base Visitor Center by Security Police just inside the main gate at Allentown Rd. Badges are valid only for the days and times noted on the badge.
- Non-drivers are discouraged since classrooms are about 2 miles from the main gate. Bus service on base is limited to M-F and ends at 6:30 p.m. Shuttle schedules are at the Visitor Center.
- Long Term Badges will be issued only to faculty/staff/registered students; badges will not be issued to non-students for any reason. This means ‘chauffers’ if you are a non-driver.
- No one will be allowed on base who has not first obtained a Long Term Badge.
- In order to receive this badge, you MUST have a valid driver’s license, car registration, social security number, proof of current car insurance, a paid tuition receipt and the “Request for a Long Term Badge” form from the Andrews Center college staff. You will be fingerprinted digitally for the badge.
- You must return the badge to the PGCC Andrews office at the end of the semester or if you withdraw or drop the class before the end of the semester. Returned badges are tracked for security reasons. You may be denied access for classes in subsequent semesters if you fail to turn in your badge.
