Alumni Association
We strive to maintain a vibrant alumni association, and you can be a part of it all. Our alumni are valuable to the college’s legacy and support the overall tradition of excellence. From contributing time and creativity to the Alumni Association and support of the Legacy Circle Annual Giving Program to countless volunteer hours, alumni are living examples of the PGCC mission. In addition to numerous social and networking opportunities, the association partners with the PGCC Foundation to host its annual golf tournament which raises more than $35,000 annually for student scholarships.
Membership is available to all individuals who have attended Prince George's Community College and attained a minimum of 15 credits. There is an annual fee of $25, however recent graduates (within the past 12 months) receive their first year FREE! Alumni dues entitle members to fabulous benefits and are used to offset the cost of alumni programs and services.
Active membership* provides the following benefits:
- Free subscription to Progressions, the bi-annual Alumni & Friends magazine.
- Access to college support services such as the library, career center and computer lab.
- 10 percent off purchases at the campus bookstore.
- Discount at the Robert I. Bickford Natatorium
- Invitation to participate in the PGCC Alumni Association’s Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament
- Discounted rate on computers purchased through the college’s PC Purchase Program.
- 50 percent discount on campus theatre productions.
- Numerous opportunities to volunteer, network and showcase talents and skills through public speaking opportunities to service to the community.
- Email notices of great upcoming Alumni & Friends Events

Distinguished Alumni
In September 2007, the college will kick off its year-long celebration of 50 years of serving this great community. The PGCC Alumni Association will commemorate this significant milestone by identifying 50 distinguished alumni. Awards will be presented at a highly publicized event.
If you know an alumnus of Prince George’s Community College who is doing amazing things — either professionally, academically, in the community or right here at PGCC — we need to hear from you!
Nominations will be accepted from PGCC alumni, faculty, staff, community, organizations and businesses. Forms can be submitted by email (alumni@pgcc.edu), fax (301-341.3066), or mail (Attn: Distinguished Alumni, 301 Largo Road, A303, Largo, MD 20774). Deadline for nominations are due by 5:00 PM, April 30, 2008.
