Personal Fitness Training
Employment Trends
Every year, more people decide that it's time to get into shape. And they look for professionals to help them do it. In fact, government economists expect jobs in fitness training and aerobics instruction to grow much faster than the average for all careers through 2014.
However, many people want to start careers in sports and fitness, and you may have to begin with part-time jobs. The greater variety of skills you have, the better your chances of making a living in this field.
Be prepared to spend more time at a desk as you advance in your career.
Some recreation workers lead non-athletic activities, such as arts and crafts.
