Program Summary

As business becomes more complex, new businesses are continually faced with new opportunities as well as new challenges. Starting a business requires a lot of thought and preparation – and it starts with you. If you're passionate about what you're doing, your potential customers are likely to be so also. Starting a business requires a lot of thought and preparation – and it starts with you. If you're passionate about what you're doing, your potential customers are likely to be so also. Never give up on what you believe in: An entrepreneur is one who doesn't give up on a dream. As Thomas Edison once said, "I have not failed. I have eliminated ways that will not work so I can find the way that will work." Seek and you shall find your path to success. Great business start with great personal brands, express yourself.

If you are like most business owners or prospective entrepreneurs, success is your primary goal. Nobody ever said that it was going to be easy, but that's not why you were attracted to the world of business, is it? At Prince George's Community College we are ready to help your business grow and prosper. With an instructor’s team of experts in various business subjects, the BOSS program will help you develop new entrepreneurial skills and strengthen existing ones.

A group of core courses is supplemented by a range of elective courses that are relevant to today's business environment. Participants who successfully complete the 42-hour BOSS program course of study will receive formal recognition of their business educational achievements.
