Applicants for both degrees and certificates are required to file a formal application for graduation prior to the deadline published in the academic calendar. The Admissions and Records Office checks for completion of all degree and certificate requirements and verifies eligibility.
Application
Submit the graduation application to the Admissions and Records Office by the following deadlines:
- February 15, 2008, spring 2008
- July 16, 2008, summer 2008
- September 17, 2008, fall 2008

Print and complete the Graduation Application and Cap & Gown form. You may submit the application in person or by mail with the $25 graduation fee to the Admissions and Records Office, Room 126, Bladen Hall, 301 Largo Road, Largo, MD 20774. Checks should be made payable to Prince George's Community College.
Fee
- The $25 graduation fee covers all degrees and certificates to be awarded during the same academic year.
- There is no additional charge for cap and gown.
Commencement
- The commencement ceremony is held once each academic year in late May.
- Summer, fall and spring graduates may attend.
- This year's is Thursday, May 21, 2009 at 7 p.m. at Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro, MD
