Kathy and Jerry Wood Scholarship
This scholarship provides full tuition and fees for four consecutive semesters provided to students who maintain a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
Eligibility Requirements
- US citizenizenship
- Graduate of a Prince George's County high school
- Minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 (must submit official copy of high school transcript)
- Must commit to a degree program at Prince George's Community College
- Must participate in at least one co-curricular activity or learning community at Prince George's Community College during semesters of award
- Three letters of recommendation (two from high school teacher(s) and/or guidance counselor(s); one from a recognized community organization)
- Not based solely on financial need, however preference given to students that demonstrate financial need
- Renewable if minimum GPA of 2.5 is maintained
