Administrative Staff Organization
Welcome to the Administrative Staff Organization of Prince George’s Community College.
Our purpose is:
- To promote more effective communication with all constituencies within the college community.
- To enhance the leadership role in the administrative staff.
- To increase administrators’ participation in the formulation of college policies and procedures.
- To cultivate the mutuality of interests among those who are engaged in or concerned with the administration of higher education.
The Executive Committee of the ASO meets monthly, usually on the second Tuesday of each month at 1:00. According to the ASO by-laws, the Executive Committee “shall be composed of elected officials and representatives from each administrative area. The elected officials on the Executive Committee are the elected president, vice-president, secretary, and immediate past president of the ASO.” Each Administrative area selects one representative to serve on the Executive Committee. All positions are two-year terms.
