Faculty Organization

The purpose of the Faculty Organization is to stimulate and advocate for enhanced learning-centeredness in all aspects of college goal-setting, planning, and operations, including but not limited to

  • setting and promoting appropriate professional standards for faculty,
  • representing the faculty viewpoint in decision-making at the college, and
  • promoting the well-being of all full-time and adjunct faculty members.

These purposes shall be accomplished through actions of the Faculty Senate, an elected representative body; elected officers of the Faculty Organization; and elected or appointed faculty representatives on various college-wide planning and governance councils, committees, and boards.

All full-time and adjunct members of the faculty are members of the Faculty Organization.
