Health Sciences Division

Welcome to the Web page for the Health Sciences Division! We hope you will explore our exciting academic offerings and make “health” an essential part of your future—both as a lifestyle choice and a career path. Contact us for more information on how to do both.

The Mission of the Health Sciences Division is to:

1) provide rigorous, learner-centered programs that prepare quality health care professionals to meet the health needs of the residents of Prince George's and surrounding counties, and

2) assist individuals in developing means of achieving and sustaining life-long health promotion.

The Health Sciences Division includes the departments of Allied Health, Health & Human Performance, and Nursing.

A criminal background check is required of all students accepted into the health sciences clinical programs.

Effective fall 2009, all students newly accepted into or re-entering the Allied Health or Nursing programs will request and pay for their criminal background checks through an online vendor selected by the college.

Follow the link to request and pay for your criminal background check.
