March 22-April 1, 2007 "End Game" By Samuel Beckett
The 20th Century produced few playwrights as brilliant and inventive as Samuel Beckett. "End Game," first produced in 1957, still remains and experiment in exploring the human situation. Hamm's parents live in dustbins, and through these characters Beckett creates "a dynamic image for the static experience of waiting, remembering, and struggling with the characteristically modern sense of futility." (Martin Banham, The Cambridge Guide to Theatre)

Peer Mentor Program - Faculty Program
The Peer Leader Program is designed to assist students in the international student program. These peer leaders have successfully completed Speech 100 for non-native speakers of English, and serve as mentors in the Speech Works Lab currently located in Accokeek, 1st Floor behind the instructional area. Peer leaders aide students primarily with the Clear Speech Works computer program, but also assist them with U.S.A. speaking rules, phonics, articulation, and content subject matter. Students taking the oral communication courses for non-native speakers of English express how comfortable they feel having one of their peers assist them in the acquisition of USA Standard American English.
