STAR Registration
The Student Telephone Assisted Registration (STAR) system allows you to register for classes, pay your bill, check room assignments and much more.
Register by Phone
You may register by phone using the STAR system by dialing 301-499-6612.
You can use S.T.A.R. to:
1. register for classes or adjust your schedule (drop/add).
2. pay your bill by credit card.
3. check the balance of your bill.
4. confirm your class schedule.
5. check to see if a particular class is open, full, or canceled.
6. check the room assignments for your classes.
7. obtain bookstore hours, important deadlines, or other general information.
Who can use S.T.A.R. to register?
To register using S.T.A.R. you must be a current student--enrolled now or in the past two years. In addition, you must:
1. be in good academic standing.
2. have all prerequisites, including placement tests scores, if needed, on record at
Prince George's Community College.
NOTE: Courses in progress count as successfully completed prerequisites.
You will not be able to use S.T.A.R. to register if:
1. you are a new student who has not been admitted or has not taken the placement tests.
2. you are on academic restriction or dismissal.
3. you are in need of EFL courses or you are an F-1 student.
4. you are enrolling in NUR, NUM, EMT, RST, RAD, or Co-op courses.
5. your residency status for tuition purposes is in question.
