DEADLINE TO APPLY IS AUGUST 3, 2017 The SAP Appeal process is closed for the Fall 2017 semester. The opportunity to schedule an appointment for the Spring 2018 appeal process will re-open October 2, 2017. Steps for the SAP Appeal Process 1) Watch the SAP Video 2) Take the SAP Quiz After completing the test, your test result score must be 100%. Please print out a copy of your results or screenshot your results by using a phone or tablet. Bring your results to a SAP advising session. 3) Make an appointment for a SAP advising session in Owl Link: 1. Go to the PGCC website: www.pgcc.edu 2. Click on the MyPGCC link at the top of the screen. 3. Login to your account. If you do not remember your ID and password, please contact the help desk at (301) 546-0637 / Bladen Hall - Rm 106 / email: HelpDesk@pgcc.edu. 4. Click on the My Appointment icon 5. Click on the Service Tab at the top of screen. 6. Under the title: S.A.P. Advising session – click on Schedule Appointment. 7. Located in the top left hand corner of the screen is the calendar – select either the month of June or July to choose the desired day and time. Choose one day only! 8. The next screen will let you review what you just selected – click on the Next button. 9. To confirm the appt., click on Schedule button. A confirmation will be sent to your PGCC student email. 4) Complete the SAP Appeal Form 5) Print out your unofficial transcript. Under the heading - My Transcript Select Unofficial Transcript Transcript Type: UG - Undergraduate Click on the Submit button Print the document 6) Print out your academic program evaluation Under the heading - My Credit Academic Records Select Academic Program Evaluation Click on the box next to your program of study Click on the submit button Print the document. 7) A typed letter of explanation. The letter should provide an explanation as to why you failed to meet SAP accompanied and what has changed that will allow you to make SAP at the next evaluation period is required. 8) Provide documentation to support your letter of explanation. If there are circumstances around your SAP appeal that can be supported with documentation, it is strongly encouraged that you bring it to your SAP Advising Session.
